Dr. Ashkan Farahany
Dr. Ashkan Farahany graduated from veterinary school in 2017 after completing his clinical training through Ross University and Michigan State University Colleges of Veterinary Medicine. Since graduating, he has developed extensive experience in emergency medicine, intensive care, advanced diagnostics, and imaging, with exposure to a wide range of specialty procedures and complex medical cases.
In addition to emergency and critical care, Dr. Farahany has a strong background in wellness and preventative medicine, dentistry, and routine soft tissue surgical procedures, ultrasound and CT scan. He is passionate about combining thorough diagnostics with practical, individualized treatment plans to provide high-quality care tailored to both pets and their families.
Dr. Farahany also has had experience in marine mammal training and medicine, further expanding his exposure to diverse species and animal care environments. He has grown up with multiple species as pets, and he currently is a dad to three cats and a French Bulldog. Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys outdoor activities, horseback riding, and competitive and open water swimming.

Our facility on Ventura Blvd was renovated to give pets a calmer experience and our team the space to do their best work. Separate cat and dog waiting areas, fear-free exam rooms, and surgical suites that meet the same standards as referral hospitals.
